This Megalodon tooth is in good condition, with good enamel coverage. There are well-defined serrations along the edges. There is one small chip on one serrated edge of the tooth. This tooth will include the acrylic display stand as shown in the photos.
We have found most Megalodon teeth to be UV reactive under a long-wave UV light. This tooth is UV reactive, and will even phosphoresce after the light has been turned off.
Found off the coastal waters of South Carolina, this fossilized tooth belongs to the Megalodon shark. There were up to 184 razor sharp teeth found in a Megalodon's jaw, each possible of growing to over 7 inches long!
