This is a unique and rare specimen of amethyst and quartz from the Kakamunurle Mine in India, and one of only 4 pieces we were able to obtain from our annual pilgrimage to Tucson in 2021.
The amethyst formations from this mine create "rosettes" and plates of very gemmy amethyst. The quartz points tend to form Tessin growth habit, and are usually coated with the amethyst as well.
