This piece sits on a custom milled acrylic base to securely hold the specimen, as shown in the photos.
This dark smoky quartz gwindel is from the Talèfre Glacier in France. It has a pronounced twist and great luster. The crystal sits on an acrylic base that has been milled out to fit the footprint of the piece, so that it displays very securely. There is one small spot of damage on the front of the crystal, and can be seen in the photos. Otherwise, this gwindel is in excellent condition and ready to join your collection.
