Iridescent goethite specimens from the Filón Sur Mine (Filón Sur open pit, Tharsis Mines, Alosno, Huelva, Andalusia, Spain) are striking collector’s minerals characterized by their vivid rainbow-like sheen on the surface of the iron(III) oxide-hydroxide mineral goethite. These pieces typically show botryoidal or stalactitic habits with brilliant flashes of magenta, gold, green, blue, and other spectral colors caused by light interference on extremely thin surface layers or microstructures. The overall effect is a dramatic, metallic, almost “oil-slick” play of color that makes these Spanish goethite specimens prized for display and collections.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery according to the tracking information on the order. Items must be returned in new/unused/undamaged condition to receive a full refund. Items returned to us damaged or not in original condition will receive a partial refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method on the order.
If a return is made for reasons other than an error on our part, a 20% restocking fee will apply and will be deducted from any refund due.
We will not accept returns for any items outside of the 14 day return window.
