Grape agate is a purple form of botryoidal chalcedony found in Indonesia. It forms in globular clusters that resembles a bunch of grapes. It gets its name from the ancient Greek term Botrys, which means "bunch of grapes". Grape agate can also exhibit green to green-blue colors.
