This slab of aragonite from the Profunda Mine has a very soothing minty green color and fibrous banding. Most polished pieces from this mine will exhibit chatoyancy from the fibrous formation of the aragonite.
The Profunda Mine was an old Roman mine and was later used as a source of copper ore until the end of the 20th century.
