Chrysocolla is a typically soft ore of copper found in vibrant shades of blue and green, but can also appear gray or cream colored. Sometimes it is confused with Turquoise because of its vibrant light blue color. It often occurs in a botryoidal form, or with quartz druzy coating. Chrysocolla commonly forms in a matrix of Black Tourmaline, or Schorl and is commonly associated with malachite.
