Etched aquamarine from Brazil are natural beryl crystals that have undergone a dissolution process deep underground. Unlike typical smooth-faced aquamarine, these specimens feature intricate, geometric surface patterns—such as ridges, spirals, and pits—carved by mineral-rich hydrothermal fluids over thousands or millions of years.
The "etching" is a geological signature, not man-made. It occurs when acidic or hydrothermal fluids interact with the crystal, subtly dissolving and reshaping its surface into complex, textural forms. These crystals often appear as "floater" specimens with 360 degrees of etched surfaces. They typically exhibit high transparency ("gemmy" quality) and colors ranging from pastel glacier blue to vibrant sea foam green.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery according to the tracking information on the order. Items must be returned in new/unused/undamaged condition to receive a full refund. Items returned to us damaged or not in original condition will receive a partial refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method on the order.
If a return is made for reasons other than an error on our part, a 20% restocking fee will apply and will be deducted from any refund due.
