Trent agate, also called Trent stibnite agate is a very unique and hard to find agate. It was discovered in the 1960's in a railroad cut in Trent, Oregon and was collected for a short period before the area was closed after an accident. The collection site is now covered by a road, so the only pieces you'll see on the market are those from older collections, or from lapidarists that have been holding onto old rough material.
What makes Trent agate so unique is its inclusions of stibnite and realgar. It is the only known agate to have this combination of minerals included in the agate.
